Uruguay leadership attends groundbreaking ceremony of Tumo center

The President of Uruguay Yamandú Orsi and top government officials have attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies, an esteemed educational project launched in Armenia, at the Carrasco International Airport.
Armenian Ambassador to Uruguay Mariam Gevorgyan was in attendance.
Uruguayan FM Mario Lubetkin, Defense Minister Sandra Lazo, Minister of Education and Culture José Carlos Mahía, Ceibal Educational Innovation Center President Fiorella Haim, Corporación América Airports CEO Martin Eurnekian and others participated in the event.
The Tumo center in Uruguay will be opened in 2026 near the Carrasco International Airport.
The project is carried out by Corporación América Airports and Ceibal.
