Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said on Thursday that he expects the Armenian Embassy in Hungary to start functioning by autumn 2025.

Presenting the ministry’s expenditures during a parliamentary committee hearing on the budget, FM Mirzoyan recalled that in 2024 Armenia opened an embassy in Uruguay, diplomatic offices in Serbia and Luxembourg, and the country is expected to open an embassy in Oman.

“At this moment the opening of the embassy in Cyprus is in process, the Armenian Ambassador to Cyprus is appointed and already stationed in Nicosia, and now we are solving the logistic issues. I think our embassy in Budapest will start to function by autumn,” he said, adding that Armenia maintains diplomatic relations with 184 countries.
