The Chinese Embassy in Armenia has stated that China’s Chargé d’Affaires in Armenia, Chen Ming, has not given any interviews to Turkish media, and that recent rumors on this topic do not correspond to reality.
“China’s foreign policy toward Armenia is consistent and clear: we support the efforts of the Armenian side to maintain national independence, sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. China is ready to continue deepening friendly and cooperative relations with Armenia and jointly promote the high-quality implementation of the ‘The Belt and Road’ initiative for the benefit of both peoples,” the Embassy noted.
Earlier, some Armenian media outlets had circulated rumors that China’s Chargé d’Affaires in Armenia, Chen Ming, had met with representatives of Turkish media.
