Syria's president to visit Turkey

Syria’s President Ahmed al-Sharaa will hold talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Kommersant reports.

The announcement was made on April 7 by Ömer Çelik, the official representative of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP). 

He noted that Ahmed al-Sharaa will also participate in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which will be held in the Turkish city of Antalya from April 11 to 13. According to the source, the Syrian leader is expected to arrive in Turkey on April 9.
