Economy Middle East names Armenia top travel destination for holidays

Economy Middle East magazine has named Armenia the top destination for travel in its list of 15 best destinations to visit during the Eid Al Fitr holidays.
“Armenia, a country rich in history and natural beauty, offers a variety of tourist attractions, making it one of the ideal destinations to visit during Eid Al Fitr 2025.Yerevan, the vibrant capital, boasts landmarks like the Cascade Complex, Republic Square and the Matenadaran manuscript repository. The ancient Temple of Garni and the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery showcase the country’s deep cultural heritage. Nature lovers can also explore Lake Sevan, one of the world’s largest freshwater high-altitude lakes, or hike through the scenic Dilijan National Park. For history enthusiasts, the medieval Tatev Monastery, accessible via the Wings of Tatev, the world’s longest reversible cableway, offers breathtaking views,” Economy Middle East wrote.
Eid Al Fitr this year is expected to take place either on Sunday, March 30, or Monday, March 31, depending on the sighting of the moon.
Azerbaijan and France were named 2nd and 3rd best destinations. The list also includes countries such as Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Thailand and others.
