Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry receives representatives of Grid Dynamics

The Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan on Tuesday received Vadim Kozyrkov, Senior Vice President of Engineering and Strategic Account Development (USA) at Grid Dynamics; Dmitry Korsun, Senior Director of Delivery Management, and Mihran Minasyan, the head of the company’s Armenian office.
According to a press release from the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, Hayrapetyan presented state programs and measures aimed at developing the sector, including a new seven-year program package by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry.
This package introduces a set of state support tools and a framework of tax privileges to technology companies to create more favorable conditions for the sector’s growth.
In this context, Minister Hayrapetyan highly appreciated the effective cooperation with Grid Dynamics, particularly emphasizing the importance of the company’s investment in human resources. He also discussed opportunities for encouraging investment flows in Armenia’s regions to ensure balanced economic development, in line with state priorities.
Kozyrkov shared the successes achieved by the company in Armenia, highlighted the country’s potential, and explored the possibilities for its effective and mutually beneficial use. He also discussed the prospects of opening a branch outside of Yerevan and welcomed the government's commitment to making Armenia a technology hub.
According to the source, the company plans to add 150 new positions to its current staff of 350, bringing the total number of employees to 500.
The parties exchanged ideas and proposals for further expanding and deepening their mutually beneficial cooperation, and agreements were reached on the next steps and actions.
