U.S. lauds Armenia’s leadership in regional diplomacy

Vice Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan has met with the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Josh Huck.

After the meeting, the U.S. official said he was “encouraged” by Armenia’s leadership in regional diplomacy.

“Encouraged by Armenia’s leadership in regional diplomacy. Productive meeting with Vice President of the National Assembly and Special Envoy for Normalization of Armenia-Turkey Relations Ruben Rubinyan on Armenia’s efforts to normalize relations with Türkiye,” Huck said, according to a statement issued by the U.S. embassy.

Huck, during a visit to Armenia, earlier also met with Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan.
