Armenia-France decentralized cooperation forum to be held in Goris

The Armenia-France decentralized cooperation forum will take place at the V. Vagharshyan State Drama Theater in Goris on June 2–3.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the city of Goris was chosen as the venue for the fifth forum, taking into account the strategic importance of the Syunik region and the comprehensive, exemplary cooperation between Syunik and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

Among the French guests arriving in Armenia to participate in the forum are mayors, regional delegations, and parliamentarians, including Laurent Wauquiez and Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, presidents of the Armenia-France friendship groups in the French National Assembly and Senate, respectively, as well as Fabrice Pannekoucke, President of the Regional Council of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
