Prime Minister Pashinyan, former NATO chief discuss Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Anders Fogh Rasmussen, former Secretary General of NATO and founder of Rasmussen Global international political consultancy firm.
Pashinyan and Rasmussen “exchanged views about the regional developments,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a readout. “In particular, they touched upon the finalization of the text of the draft Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the completion of negotiations around finalization of the text of the draft. Prime Minister Pashinyan underscored Armenia’s readiness to sign the agreement for the benefit of ensuring peace and stability in the region,” it added.
The Prime Minister’s Office said that Pashinyan and Rasmussen also discussed the Armenia-EU cooperation and the course of EU-supported reforms in Armenia.
