Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, received a delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Caspar Veldkamp.
According to the Prime Minister’s office, PM Pashinyan welcomed Dutch FM Caspar Veldkamp’s visit to Armenia and emphasized the dynamic nature of cooperation between the two countries.
Pashinyan highly appreciated the level of bilateral political dialogue, adding that steps need to be taken to further expand ties in the economy and other sectors.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the role of the Netherlands in deepening Armenia-EU relations and effectively implementing Armenia's democratic reform agenda.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands noted that close cooperation based on mutual trust has been established between the foreign ministries of the two countries. According to him, the Declaration on Strategic Partnership, signed on Wednesday between Armenia and the Netherlands, will elevate bilateral relations to a new level.
At the same time, he added that the Netherlands will continue contributing to the development of Armenia-EU cooperation.
The parties discussed issues related to the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and regional stability. They also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
