Pashinyan lauds jobs growth

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has presented 2024 indicators on the number of jobs.

Speaking at the Cabinet meeting on February 27, the PM highlighted the growth in the past few years.

With results of 2024 the number of jobs in Armenia stood at 760,555, which is 36,6% or 203,875 more compared to 2018, Pashinyan said.

“Since 2018, over 203,000 have been created in Armenia, which is an important achievement both in absolute number and growth percentage,” he said, noting that the dynamics of growth continues this year.

“I am happy to note that the dynamics of growth has continued in 2025. Particularly, in January 2025, compared to January 2024, 41,124 more jobs were registered, and 200,651 more compared to January 2018,” he added.
