Serviceman found shot dead, investigation underway

On February 17, at around 09:20, the body of a serviceman from the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense was found with a gunshot wound.

Authorities identified the serviceman as Sevak V. Hovhannisyan. An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances of the shooting.

In a statement, the Ministry of Defense extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased serviceman.
