YEREVAN, JANUARY 7, ARMENPRESS. The real estate market in Armenia recorded significant activeness in 2024 with a total of 247,926 transactions, the head of the Cadastre Committee Suren Tovmasyan has said.
68,946 of the 247,926 transactions were made in Yerevan.
Growth has been recorded both in Yerevan and elsewhere across the country. (12% growth in Yerevan and around 13% growth in the provinces).
“We see by the numbers of the registered transactions in the real estate market in all areas of the country that there is a growth. The biggest growth outside Yerevan was in Gegharkunik with 15%, followed by Lori province with 14%, 11% in Shirak, 10% in Aragatsotn, 7% in Ararat, 5% in Kotayk and so on,” Tovmasyan said.
The transactions include various directions, such as sale and purchase, rentals, alienation, inheritance, registration of state ownership rights etc.
Tovmasyan said they will separately present the data on prices in the market, when the annual reports will be finalized.
