Armenian Minister of Infrastructure, US Ambassador discuss launch of direct flights to the US

YEREVAN, 23 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, David Khudatyan, met with a delegation led by United States Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien. According to the ministry, Khudatyan welcomed the Ambassador and emphasized the importance of strengthening Armenia-US ties and cooperation.
The Ambassador congratulated Khudatyan on his appointment and expressed her willingness to continue and expand the existing collaboration with the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.
During the meeting, they discussed the progress of several joint initiatives, as well as cooperation in the energy sector, local governance, and the "Crossroads of Peace" project, which the Ambassador pledged to support.
The possibility of establishing direct flights between Armenia and the United States was also explored.
