"Armenia-Iran: The Process of Cooperation and New Perspectives" conference kicks off

YEREVAN, 5 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The three-day expert conference titled "Armenia-Iran: The Process of Cooperation and New Perspectives," organized by the Public Relations and Information Center, has kicked off.

According to the center's director, Gor Tsarukyan, representatives from Iran's leading think tanks and news agencies met with Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan, and Deputy Ministers of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan and Kristine Ghalechyan.

The Iranian guests were briefed on the process and vision for diversifying and deepening Armenia-Iran cooperation, Armenia's positions regarding the regional transport blockade, border delimitation, the regulation of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, and the "Crossroads of Peace" project.

The next two days of the conference will be held in the Syunik region, where an Armenian-Iranian expert workshop will take place in Kapan.
