Armenian tax authorities create favorable conditions for all business operators, says SRC chief

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian tax authorities are working to create favorable conditions for all taxpayers, State Revenue Committee Chairman Rustam Badasyan has said.
“There is no tax terror in Armenia,” Badasyan said at a parliamentary committee hearing on the 2025 state budget. “On the contrary, our administration is aimed at ensuring better conditions for taxpayers. We work in a very collegial manner with all taxpayers in Armenia.”
He stressed that the customs procedures have been simplified for thousands of taxpayers. In particular, the preliminary declaration procedure has been simplified, which significantly reduces customs clearance duration.
“If businesses had to spend several days for this process in the past, now the same process lasts anywhere between fifteen minutes to several hours,” Badasyan said.
