Armenia and Georgia unconditionally respect each other's territorial integrity - PM Pashinyan

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. The existing cooperation between Armenia and Georgia reflects Armenia's vision for regional relations, PM Pashinyan said in a statement during joint remarks following his meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in Georgia.

Pashinyan noted that significant activity has been observed in Armenia-Georgia relations in recent years, which has led to an expansion of multi-faceted cooperation between the two countries across all sectors.

He emphasized that the cooperation between Armenia and Georgia was elevated to the level of strategic partnership in January of this year. According to the PM, the two countries have developed a viable mechanism for effective and periodic contacts, based on mutual interests, principles, and democratic values accepted  by the friendly peoples of both nations.

"Armenia and Georgia mutually and unconditionally respect each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty. I consider this to be one of the important factors for establishing stability and lasting peace in the South Caucasus,’’ said Pashinyan.
