BTA. President to Confer Order of Madara Horseman on Armenian Ambassador in Sofia

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS/BTA. President Rumen Radev will confer the Order of Madara Horseman  on the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Bulgaria, Armen Edigaryan, was reported the presidential press service. 

Edigaryan will receive the honours for great merits in the strengthening and development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Armenia.
Foreign and Bulgarian citizens are awarded the Order of Madara Horseman for particularly great merits in the establishment, strengthening and development of bilateral relations with Bulgaria, the President's website states. 

Bulgaria and Armenia have mutual diplomatic presence, with embassies at the level of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary functioning in both countries, according to information on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia is Kalin Anastasov, who presented his credentials on April 28, 2021. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Bulgaria is Armen Edigaryan, who presented his credentials on September 23, 2020.
