Justice Minister says latest agreement signed with Azerbaijan in line with OSCE guideline

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. The regulation on the joint activities of the border delimitation commissions between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be sent to the Constitutional Court after passing confirmation at the Cabinet meeting on September 5, Justice Minister Grigor Minasyan has said.

The regulation, as a draft international agreement, will be confirmed at the Cabinet meeting as required by the procedures. Then, the regulation will be sent to Constitutional Court to check its conformity with the constitution.

“I believe this is a consensual and high-quality document in line with the OSCE guideline,” Justice Minister Grigor Minasyan told Armenpress.

On August 30, Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a regulation on joint activity of delimitation commissions.

The document will have to pass the constitutional court and then debated in parliament for ratification.
