Armenia to host Global Conference on Wine Tourism

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. Armenia will host the 8th UN Tourism Global Conference on Wine Tourism on 11-13 September, under the theme "Heritage in Every Bottle: Crafting Authentic Wine Tourism Experiences".

Participants from over 40 countries will get to know Armenian winemaking heritage and experience.

The conference participants will have the unique chance to explore the Areni-1 cave, the oldest winery in the world. 

According to experts, such major events will contribute the promotion of the Armenian wine industry.

According to UN Tourism, this annual conference “represents a unique opportunity for experts from across the growing field of wine tourism to work together to find concrete solutions to make tourism an enabler of the way forward towards a more sustainable, inclusive and resilient future for communities.”
