Armenian foreign ministry seeks visa-free regime with Tunisia for diplomatic passport holders

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. The foreign relations committee of the Armenian parliament approved a bill submitted by the foreign ministry on lifting visa requirements with Tunisia for diplomatic passport holders.

Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan said the relations between Armenia and Tunisia have big potential for development. He described Tunisia as Armenia’s friend in North Africa region and important partner within the framework of the International Organization of La Francophonie.

The visa waiver deal will enable to enhance and deepen political dialogue and intensify mutual visits on various levels.

The agreement’s ratification will be debated in the plenary session of parliament.
