YEREVAN, AUGUST 31, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian government still hasn’t decided whether it will attend the COP29 in Azerbaijan in November, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said.

He said the decision on participating or not will be made by assessing the atmosphere and situation.

Pashinyan was asked at a press conference whether Armenia will participate in COP29, and if yes whether it could be an occasion for the country to sign some document with Azerbaijan.

“We will make decisions in proper timeframes. We don’t have a decision at this moment. Certainly the overall situation, processes and atmosphere can’t not impact this decision,” Pashinyan said.

Theoretically, no decision can be ruled out, he said.
