Paris 2024: Armenian athlete Yervand Mkrtchyan sets new national record

PARIS, AUGUST 7, ARMENPRESS. Armenian athlete Yervand Mkrtchyan has set a new national record by finishing the men’s 800m track at the Paris Olympics with a result of 1:49.91. 

Mkrtchyan is ranked 51st in the Olympics total ranking. 

He will now compete at the 800m Repechage on August 8.
