Paris-2024: Weightlifter Andranik Karapetyan is 7th in the Olympic Games

PARIS, AUGUST 9, ARMENPRESS. Member of the Armenian Olympic team, weightlifter Andranik Karapetyan was in Paris-2024.

89 kg weightlifters competed in the weightlifting tournament in the "Northern Arena" of Paris.

 Andranik Karapetyan, a member of the Armenian Olympic team, first lift 170 kg, then did not lift 175 kg, and after lifting 177 kg, the judges did not count the approach. In the push-up exercise, Karapetyan had one successful approach and lifted 200 kg. Andranik Karapetyan is the 7th 370 kg result of the duel. The other members of the weightlifting team, Garik Karapetyan and Varazdat Lalayan, will perform on August 10.
