Paris 2024: Armenia’s Chaloyan to face UK’s Orie in superheavyweight boxing preliminaries

PARIS, JULY 29, ARMENPRESS.  Armenia’s Davit Chaloyan will step into the ring at the North Paris Arena on July 29 to face the UK’s Delicious Orie in the first round of the 2024 Olympic men’s +92kg boxing tournament. 

In other events, Team Armenia gymnasts Artur Davtyan and Vahagn Davtyan both earlier qualified for the August 4 finals. 

Swimmer Varsenik Manucharyan and shooter Elmira Karapetyan failed the qualification rounds.
