US Ambassador to Armenia expresses condolences over tragic car accident in Syunik

YEREVAN, JULY 11, ARMENPRESS. The US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Kvien expressed condolences in connection with the tragic accident, where two people died in Syunik. Ambassador Kvien stated in a message posted on the US Embassy's Facebook page.

Earlier, the press secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs Narek Sargsyan reported that the accident occurred in the Gorayk section of the Syunik region. Two people died: the driver and one passenger. Three people were taken to the hospital.

The message reads as follows:

"I am deeply saddened to hear about the tragic deaths and injuries sustained by the servicemen in today's car accident in Syunik. My heart goes out to the families affected by this devastating loss. The service and dedication of these brave men to their country will live on in the hearts of all who knew them. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time."
