YEREVAN, JUNE 18, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, is departing for the Federal Republic of Germany for a three-day working visit.
The Armenian delegation also includes the chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sports Affairs Sisak Gabrielyan and the chairman of the Higher Education and Science Committee Sargis Hayotsyan.
On June 18-22, the Minister of Education and Culture will visit several higher educational institutions, including the Technical University of Munich, Munich Bundeswehr Universityin Munich, Berlin and Leipzig. During the meetings, especially, the perspectives of cooperation within the framework of the project of building an academic city in Armenia will be discussed, according to the statement from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia.
Meetings with officials from the fields of culture and sports are also planned, as well as visits to Berlin's Museum of Prehistory and Early History, the Neues Museum, the Leipzig Institute for Eastern European History and Cultureissues related to sectoral cooperation will be discussed with the responsible persons.
