YEREVAN, JUNE 15, ARMENPRESS. Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan visited the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the minister wrote on his Facebook page.
He noted that NIST's mission is to promote American innovation and industrial competitiveness.
The minister noted that the institute is engaged in various research programs focused on nanoscale science and technology, engineering, information technology, neutron research, materials measurements, and physical measurements.
"NIST implements research and experience exchange programs in which young researchers and students play an active role. Following our meeting, we have agreed to cooperate in several areas," Hayrapetyan wrote.
