An initial shipment of fuel arrived at the Ayrum station by rail from Georgia

After the flood in the Lori and Tavush regions of the Republic of Armenia on the morning of June 5, an initial shipment of petrol and diesel arrived at the Ayrum station by rail from Georgia, Gnel Sanosyan Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia wrote about this on his Facebook page.

“At the station, petrol and diesel are loaded onto trucks for transportation over the recently repaired bridge to various regions of the republic.

Let me remind you that in a short time, we managed to transform the old railway bridge into a bridge for vehicles, which today is ready and serves its purpose.

In this way, we will be able to deliver not only petrol, but also other goods arriving in Armenia by rail, to the Ayrum station, and from there transport them by truck,” wrote the Minister.
