YEREVAN, JANUARY 27, ARMENPRESS. Kristina A. Kvien, the new United States Ambassador to Armenia, was sworn in as an Ambassador by United States Under Secretary of State Uzra Zeya, the United States Embassy in Armenia said on social media.

The embassy announced the swearing-in Friday, “Kristina A. Kvien was sworn in as an Ambassador by Under Secretary of State Uzra Zeya. Congratulations!”

On December 13, 2022, the United States Senateconfirmedthe nomination ofKristina A. Kviento be Ambassador of the United States to Armenia, replacing Lynne Tracy, who was confirmed as the next United States Ambassador to Russia.
