President of Artsakh denies media reports on domestic political crisis

STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 16, ARMENPRESS. President of Artsakh Arayik Harutynyan met with Members of Parliament on January 16, Harutyunyan’s office said in a statement.

The President spoke about the steps taken for withstanding the aftermath of the ongoing blockade and the domestic and foreign challenges. In this context, President Harutyunyan attached importance to preserving domestic unity and underscored the unified work of parliamentary forces in this regard.

Addressing the recent media reports about the domestic political life in Artsakh, President Harutyunyan said he will refrain from commenting on manipulations, but at the same time he said he can certainly say that “there is no domestic political crisis in Artsakh and they cannot allow such thing to happen because there is a clear understanding that our main agenda is to overcome the urgent issues and recover Artsakh from this situation”. In this context the President said that only after overcoming the crisis resulting from the blockade it will be possible to address the issues of systemic solutions to domestic political problems.
