Armenian government to open 337 new schools and 521 new kindergartens by 2026

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS. The government plans to build and open 337 new schools and 521 new kindergartens by 1st September 2026, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

He added that on January 1, 2023 the government will commission newly built 24 schools and 53 kindergartens, in 2024 – 64 schools and 141 kindergartens, in 2025 – 57 schools and 144 kindergartens, in 2026 – 111 schools and 87 kindergartens, and in 2026 – 78 schools and 92 kindergartens.

“I am very happy that the plan is concentrated, we must constantly monitor this to be certain that the plan will be fully implemented,” Pashinyan added.
