Armenian first deputy minister of defense receives EU technical mission 

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 15, ARMENPRESS. Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces-First Deputy Defense Minister, Major-General Edward Asryan received today members of the EU technical assessment mission.

Welcoming the mission’s visit to Armenia and expressing the readiness of the Armed Forces to cooperate with and assist the mission, Edward Asryan presented the current situation resulting from the September 13th large-scale Azerbaijani aggression against Armenia.

During the meeting the main goals and issues of the EU mission were presented to the Chief of the General Staff.

The sides also discussed technical and organizational issues relating to the operation of the mission.
