Armenian PM presents aftermath of Azeri attack to Slovenian president at UNGA

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting with President of Slovenia Borut Pahor during the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York City, the Prime Minister’s Office said.

The PM spoke about Azerbaijan’s large-scale attack on Armenia’s sovereign territory. Pashinyan underscored that the Azerbaijani military strikes targeted 36 Armenian towns which resulted in multiple casualties, both military and civilian.

PM Pashinyan attached importance to the international community’s adequate reaction in the direction of condemning the Azerbaijani actions and an immediate withdrawal of Azerbaijani military units from sovereign territory of Armenia.

President Pahor expressed concern and highlighted the need for negotiated solutions to regional issues.

The further development of the Armenian-Slovenian relations and other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
