Chief of General Staff of Belarusian Armed Forces arrives in Armenia

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, First Deputy Minister of Defense, Major-General Oleg Belokonev arrived in Armenia on an official visit on September 21, the Armenian defense ministry told Armenpress.

The official welcoming ceremony was followed by the extended format meeting of the Armenian and Belarusian delegations led by Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Artak Davtyan and Oleg Belokonev.

During the meeting the sides discussed the military-political situation in the Caucasus region, the Armenian-Belarussian military and defense cooperation and other issues.
