Pashinyan, EU Special Representative discuss Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Magdalena Grono.
The PM and Special Representative Grono exchanged views around the situation in the South Caucasus region, particularly the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a readout.
Both sides attached importance to the finalization of the draft agreement On Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In this regard PM Nikol Pashinyan reiterated the Armenian government’s commitment to the peace agenda.
Magdalena Grono attached importance to the signing of the agreement and expressed conviction that it would contribute to ensuring lasting peace and stability in the region.
The sides also discussed the further development of Armenia-EU relations and the effective implementation of EU-supported democratic reforms in Armenia.
