YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 17, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has sent a letter of condolence to President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt over the massacre committed by the Islamic State extremist group which left 21 innocent Egyptian Christians dead. The Mass Media and Public Relations Department of the Armenian president’s Office informed “Armenpress: that the letter runs as follows:

“During this difficult time of grief and sorrow, I express my full support for you, the friendly people of Egypt and for the relatives of the victims, wishing them steadfastness and strong spirit.

The Republic of Armenia strictly condemns any terrorist act grounded on manifestations of racial, religious and other forms of intolerance and reaffirms its continued commitment to keenly supporting the international community in the fight against this evil.”
