Armenia’s PM and U.S. Ambassador reconfirm readiness to continue cooperation

YEREVAN, APRIL 18, ARMENPRESS. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America John Heffern.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that the Prime Minister attached importance to the continuous development of the Armenian-U.S. relations. He highly appreciated the U.S. support to the reforms carried out in our country and reconfirmed the readiness of the Government to continue them. “The Government of the Republic of Armenia will continue to strengthen and more activate efficient cooperation with the USA that existed within these years. I am sure that we will have a close cooperation in future and expect Your support to continue reforms carried out in Armenia and to realize them in a larger scale,” the Prime Minister noted.

The U.S. Ambassador thanked for the reception and congratulated Hovik Abrahamyan on the occasion of his appointment in the position of the Prime Minister.
