Russia to arm CSTO collective rapid reaction forces: Nikolay Bordyuzha

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 21, ARMENPRESS: The program on the armament of the member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization with Russian military equipment in the framework of the collective rapid reaction forces is ready. Armenpress reports that during the Yerevan-Moscow-Astana-Kiev telebridge the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Bordyuzha stated about it. “The program has been approved by the presidents of the CSTO member countries. Now the dates of the armament allocation are being discussed”, - said Nikolay Bordyuzha.

“Now I can say that the program is in the stage of implementation. I would like to add that it is a very valuable document and it requires considerable funds from Russia and the member countries”, - noted Nikolay Bordyuzha.

The collective rapid reaction forces have been established in CSTO, including about 20,000 people from the Organization’s six countries.
