Vandals destroy cross-stone at Scottsdale Armenian Church

YEREVAN, APRIL 29, ARMENPRESS. A stone cross being installed at the St. Apkar Armenian Church in Scottsdale was destroyed by vandals, “Armenpress” reports citing 12news.com.

"It feels deliberate because it's a terrible coincidence that this happened during the week of April 24th, which is a traditional commemoration of the Armenian Genocide, which took place in 1915", said Artin Kandjian, the architect of the church.

Anyone with information relevant to this incident is asked to call theScottsdale Police Department.
