YEREVAN, APRIL 26, ARMENPRESS.  Advisor to the Investigative Committee Chairman Sona Truzyan informed “Armenpress” that the owner of the sim card, which was earlier discovered at the explosion scene, had personal issues with his relatives and had planned to harm them by using explosives. “ The investigation determined that the owner of the sim card, which was discovered at the scene, has personal issues with his relatives and had planned to harm them by using explosives”, Truzyan said. According to her, investigations are continuing to identify the corpse at the scene and the sim card owner.

10 people were aboard the bus at the moment of the explosion: 9 passengers and the driver. 2 of the passengers died at the scene, 7 were wounded.

Among various items, a sim card has been found at the scene. The sim card’s owner has been identified. He is a previously 2-time convicted citizen of Armenia.  His residence was searched and a TNT explosive material was found, including detonators and various electric devices.

TNT elements were also found at the crime scene.
