Iran Ambassador to Armenia attaches importance to inter-religious dialogue between Armenia and Iran

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received in Mother See of holy Etchmiadzin on November 24 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Armenia H.E. Mr. Seyyed Kazem Sajjad. As “Armenpress” was informed by Information Services of Mother See, His Holiness greeted the Ambassador congratulating on his appointment and wishing him fruitful activity.

His Holiness Karekin II spoke about Armenian-Iranian centuries’ relations, current cooperation between the two countries. His Holiness emphasized the necessity of fostering the cooperation in spiritual and cultural spheres attaching importance to mutual visits.

Expressing his satisfaction over the attention towards Armenian community in Iran paid by Iranian authorities, His Holiness highly appreciated considerate care toward Armenian cultural values and sacred objects.

Seyyed Kazem Sajjad expressed his happiness over starting his mission in the Republic of Armenia. The Ambassador attached great importance to inter-religious dialogue between the 2 countries.
