Armenia and France discuss prospective defense programs

YEREVAN, JUNE 19, ARMENPRESS. The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, on June 19 held a meeting with the Military Adviser and Chief of the Military Staff to the President of France, General Fabien Mandon.

During the meeting, they discussed the ongoing cooperation between Armenia and France in the field of defense, as well as prospective programs, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

The Minister of Defense provided an update on the reforms within the Armenian Armed Forces and the level of support of France in this context.

Additionally, issues related to regional and international security were addressed.
