Arayik Harutyunyan and Vassilis Maragos discussed issues related to Armenia-EU cooperation

YEREVAN, JUNE 19, ARMENPRESS.Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan met with the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos.

The interlocutors discussed several issues on the Armenia-EU cooperation agenda. In particular, they spoke about the successful progress of reforms being implemented in our country with the support of the EU, the development of democratic institutions, the reform of strategic communications and programs implemented in other areas, as mentioned in the Prime Minister's Office statement.

Both sides emphasized the importance of implementing the agreements reached at the Armenia-EU-U.S. high-level meeting held on April 5 this year in Brussels.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the effective cooperation and emphasized the importance of taking consistent steps in this direction.
