Armenian team sets record at Greco-Roman style World Championship

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER18,ARMENPRESS: The Armenian team has set a record in theGreco-Roman styleWorldChampionshipinTashkent. As Armenpress reports, world championArsenJulfalakyansaid duringthe Facebookpress conference summoned by “Liberty” radio station.

Arsen Julfalakyanstressed that it is the first time in the Armenian sports history that 2 athletes achieve the title of the world champion in the same world championship at the same time. “It also turned out that me and my father have established a record too,” the champion said adding that they are the first son and father world champions in the sports history.

Arsen Julfalakyan did not agree with a user’s view thatsport successes do not make happy in Armenia. “I knew that I will get a warm welcome in Armenia, but my expectations were surpassed,” he said.

In answer to the question whether he will ever become a member of a party or work as an ambassador, MP or minister in case of proposal,ArsenJulfalakyannoted: “I am a diplomat by profession. At the moment I am getting prepared for the Olympic Games, but later I willbe engaged in diplomatic work. I would like to work in a foreign department. There are also plans to work in international sport centers.”
