The World Bank predicts a 4.1 percent growth of Armenia's GDP in 2023
20:13, 10 January 2023YEREVAN, JANUARY 10, ARMENPRESS. According to the forecast of the World Bank, the growth of Armenia's GDP will be 4.1 percent in 2023, and 4.8 percent in 2024, ARMENPRESS reports reads the WB's "Global Economic Prospects Report (January, 2023)".
According to the report, global economic growth is predicted to slow down sharply amid high inflation and interest rates, reduced investment and disruptions caused by the Ukraine-Russia conflict. In 2023, it will slow down to 1.7 percent (from 3 percent expected 6 months ago), and in 2024 it will reach 2.5 percent.
