YEREVAN, APRIL 14, ARMENPRESS. Hundreds of Armenians and foreigners gathered in the central square of Montevideo, Uruguay on April 13 to protest against the Azerbaijani aggression against Nagorno Karabakh, “Armenpress” was informed by the Armenian community of Uruguay.
Among the participants of the protest were member of the Uruguayan Senate Ruben Martinez Huelmo, MP Daniel Ratio, ex FM and Ombudsman Belela Herrera, Minister of Tourism and Sport Liliam Kechichian, Armenian MPs of the Uruguayan Parliament Antonio Zulamyan, Jose Louis Satchyan and others. The protesters raised the flags of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh, and gave flyers about the recent developments to passersby.
Many local news agencies focused on the protest.
