Very soon the main energy supplier for all countries will be the sun, says Armenian PM

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. In an interview with the Italian Corriere della Sera newspaper, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan answered to a question on whether or not the fact that Azerbaijan is one of the main energy suppliers for Italy is a problem for Yerevan’s relations with Rome.

PM Pashinyan stressed that Armenia has good relations with Italy and expressed hope that the ties will become stronger.

“But I would say that Azerbaijan isn’t the energy supplier, it is the supplier of oil and gas. Today the meaning of the word “energy” is changing very quickly. Very soon the main energy supplier for Italy and all other countries will be the sun. Therefore, we must take into account the facts and the future,” he said.
