Ex-Defense Minister charged for abuse of official powers

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. The Investigative Committee of Armenia has pressed criminal charges against former Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan for abusing official power.

Particularly, it has been proved that Vigen Sargsyan has decided whom to allocate houses in the sidelines of Defense Ministry housing program. A total of 29 houses have been allocated to servicemen by the decision of Vigen Sargsyan, while the issue had to be decided by the Central Housing Commission of the Defense Ministry of Armenia.
