Minister says Armenia would not suffer from not participating in upcoming economic forum in Poland

YEREVAN, AUGUST 29, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Economy Tigran Khachatryan doesn’t think that Armenia will suffer from not taking part in the upcoming economic forum in Poland.

“I don’t think it can lead to some consequences because economic forums are convened with a view for officials of concrete countries to discuss and agree upon on issues based on their agenda priorities. I think they are not attending one forum, but participate in other events which can be more effective”, the minister told reporters after today’s Cabinet meeting.

Earlier Armenian foreign ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received an invitation to participate in the29th International Economic Forum in the Polish city of Krynica-Zdrój, but his participation was not confirmed.
